Volunteer at Welcome Home Assisted Living:
Join our community of caring individuals by volunteering at Welcome Home Assisted Living in Oak Harbor! Your time and talents can make a significant difference in the lives of our residents. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities that allow you to engage with our residents and enrich their daily lives.
Assist with Activities: Help our staff organize and run group activities such as arts and crafts, games, and social events. Your enthusiasm can bring joy and excitement to our residents' day.
One-on-One with Residents: Spend quality time with our residents through personalized interactions. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, reading a book together, or simply being a friendly presence, your companionship can brighten their day.
Book Reading: Share the magic of stories by reading to our residents. Whether it's a favorite novel, a short story, or a magazine article, your voice can bring comfort and entertainment.
Gardening: If you have a green thumb, join our residents in the garden. Help plant flowers, maintain the garden beds, or simply enjoy the outdoors together. Gardening is a wonderful way to connect and create something beautiful.
Host an Activity: Have a special skill or hobby you’d like to share? Host an activity! Whether it’s a cooking demonstration, a musical performance, or a fitness class, your unique talents can provide a fun and engaging experience for our residents.
